Each 2.5# pack replaces 3# of ice.  Powered by a special non-toxic formula that freezes at a chilly 28°F (-2°C) and is specifically designed to keep hold a 28 degree temperature, keeping beverages colder than ice! When using Canyon ice packs in a Canyon Cooler,  the beverages stay at a perfect drinking temperature without the hassle or mess of ice.
